Our GP (General Practitioner)s are here to help you. 

  • General practitioners (GPs) assist and treat all medical conditions and refer patients to hospitals and other medical services for urgent and specialist treatment.
  • Baby Checks
  • Joint Injections

Practice Nurses perform the following –

  • Wound checks
  • Annual Chronic illness reviews (Asthma, Diabetes, COPD etc)
  • Hormone injections (Prostap, Zoladex etc)
  • Cervical Screening (Smear tests)

Our Nurse Practitioners can help you with –

  • Contraception
  • Acute illnesses, such as chest infections, sore throats, cystitis or bites
  • Skin ailments

The role of a Physician Associate includes duties such as – 

  • providing health promotion and disease prevention advice for patients
  • performing physical examinations
  • diagnosing illnesses for a varied range of ailments
  • seeing patients with long-term conditions
  • taking medical histories from patients
  • analysing test results
  • making referrals and developing management plans.

Our Healthcare Assistants provide the following services –

  • Take blood samples, blood pressure readings and urine samples
  • Participate in vaccination and immunisation programmes for both adults and children
  • Ear syringing
  • B12 injections
  • ECG’s
  • INR

First Contact Practitioner’s assist our patients musculoskeletal issues such as back, neck and joint pain by –

  • assessing and diagnosing issues
  • giving expert advice on how best to manage their conditions
  • referring patients onto specialist services if necessary

Our Practice Pharmacist team offer the following services  –

  • Medication queries
  • Medication reviews
  • Assistance with initiating new medications/repeat dispensing
