Supporting children and young people to swallow tablets and capsules:
We know that at times certain medicines are difficult to get hold of in liquid form and for some drugs there is no liquid form with tablets or capsules being the only option. Supporting your child to learn to swallow tablets can therefore be really helpful to ensure they can get the medication they need regardless of formulation. The link below has some really practical advice for anyone who finds swallowing tablets difficult and for parents supporting their children to take tablets.
