Thankyou for completing your asthma control test questionnaire.
Your asthma appears to be completely controlled on your current treatment.
We would like to offer you the opportunity to review your asthma treatment to make sure that you are on the best inhaler for you and the lowest amount of asthma treatment to maintain your complete control. This may be stepping down your current inhaler treatment to a lower dose or considering an alternative like a maintenance and reliever (MART) or an anti-inflammatory reliever (AIR) inhaler.
Please see the following link for information:
MART: https://www.asthmaandlung.org.uk/symptoms-tests-treatments/treatments/mart
AIR: https://www.asthmaandlung.org.uk/symptoms-tests-treatments/treatments/air
If you are already on Symbicort 200/6 and your symptoms return you should revert back to your previous inhaler regime, If you symptoms persist despite this, you should seek a review with the Asthma Nurse. In an emergency you can use 6 puffs of Symbicort one every 30-60 seconds. If you need to this you should call 999.
